What to expect:
Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email from PtEverywhere. We encourage you to create an account so you can access our online consent forms and preview your appointment details. Your appointment will last 50 minutes to 1 hr. Your physical therapist will begin with a consultation to understand your concerns, ask what your end goal is, so you can work together to achieve maximum treatment results. At this time, your therapist will give you an estimate of treatment sessions and set expectations to achieve your performance goal. Our goal is to help you achieve your ideal results and get you back to the things you love! From there, treatment will typically begin with dry needling on your concerned area. Following, our therapist will use manual therapy techniques to maximize your results and provide recommended at home exercises. Once the appointment is complete, you will pay for your session, purchase a package session, and/or book your next appointment. Typically, our therapist will exchange contact information so they can check on you in-between appointments and be available as you need it.
What should I bring to my appointment?
An outfit that you can move in (typically a workout outfit as you may be doing mobility exercises during your manual therapy)
Payment methods (cash, check, credit card, debit card, FSA, HSA)
How much does a session cost?
Each session costs a flat rate which is typically lower than the established insurance rate. You can pay by session, or we offer package discounts to maximize your savings. Since we are out-of-network with all insurance companies, we offer insurance support to help you navigate your coverage and submit your claims towards your out-of-network benefit. What’s included in the treatment session?
Your treatment session fee is a flat rate that includes our customized treatment plan to overcome your pain, our expert clinical recommendation, dry-needling, manual therapy, personalized at-home therapy exercises, and direct communication with our therapists as needed. At Empower U, we care for each of our clients and want you to feel supported. Although our sessions are 1 hour long, our team is available for clinical guidance anytime.
Where will my treatments take place?
Most of our treatment sessions take place at the Empower U Headquarters location. This is located at 7303 S Cliff Ave. Sioux Falls, SD 57108. Our building is right in front of Paws Pet Resort and All American Gymnastics. We do offer a few treatments at our satellite locations throughout Sioux Falls, SD. If you have a location preference, please let us know when you schedule your appointment.
