Our mid-back or thoracic spine is an area of the body where pain and dysfunction are very common. Oftentimes, stiffness and muscle tension develop in this region due to a sustained, hunched-forward posture throughout our daily lives. This leads to a reduction in spinal mobility that is necessary to complete tasks ranging anywhere from weight lifting at the gym to simply performing daily tasks at home. Reversing the hunched forward posture is crucial to relieving pain and dysfunction. Even for those who aren’t experiencing pain, try these exercises out and feel a difference in your mobility and posture! Let us know what you think!
