Get to know Lilly

My name is Lilly Johnson and I am a marketing intern for Empower U. I am studying advertising & public relations as well as business administration at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I am set to graduate in May of 2025 and am so excited to be joining the Empower U marketing team! I was a four sport athlete in high school and have continued to enjoy staying active throughout college. When I was 10-years-old I developed Sever’s disease which causes growing pains in the heel. Physical therapy is the reason I could continue staying active and playing sports while growing up. My personal experience with physical therapy paired with the amazing people at Empower U is the reason I wanted to be apart of the team. I can’t wait to gain marketing experience and build relationships, while also bringing creative and innovative ideas to Empower U. In my free time I enjoy being with friends and family. I love long walks with friends, lake days, and going out for food and drinks!
