Get to know Sydney

I am currently serving as the Marketing Intern at Empower U, where I have the opportunity to combine my passion for sports, wellness, and creative content to support the growth of the brand and enhance its community presence.

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, I attend Augustana University, where I am pursuing a degree in Business and Marketing and compete on the university’s volleyball team. Following my undergraduate studies, I plan to pursue an MBA.

At Empower U, I bring a creative, team-oriented mindset to every project — from campaign development to social media strategy. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, going on long walks, creating healthy recipes, spending time with family and friends, and wakesurfing at my lake cabin.

Why Empower U?

As an athlete who values both performance and recovery, I was immediately drawn to Empower U’s mission. My journey with Empower U began through social media, where I discovered local NIL athletes partnering with the clinic. After shadowing sessions and getting to know the team, I quickly recognized the value of performance-based physical therapy and personalized care.

What truly stood out to me was Empower U’s culture — one built on community impact, innovation, and a client-first approach. It’s a place where people are empowered to move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free — and I’m proud to be part of a team that makes that possible.
